This album marks 10 years of me writing music, which is crazy to think about. I spent quite a bit of time mapping out the song progression, in terms of feel and tempo. Like all my albums, the goal was to gradually increase the intensity and the mood.

Song notes:

• Guten Taak was written many years ago but I never released it because it never fit within any other album. I don't know why, but it makes me think of a bar someplace in Germany or Holland.
• Words of Prey was also written many years ago, probably one of the first songs I ever wrote actually. And, like Guten Taak it never seemed to fit with anything else I was writing. I'm also particularly pleased with the wordplay in the title of this one.
